Happy Monday! Merry Christmas. Who really cares ey 😔

Who else shares the Christmas dread at the minute 🙋🏼  Christmas guilt. Expense. Nagging. Sounds like fun? Yeah 🙄

When everyone around you is excited for Christmas! Oh how isn’t it wonderful! Yeah fan fucking tastic! Lets spend the best part of three weeks telling the rugrats not to touch the ornaments … please don’t touch the damn tree , again! Why not spend this month worrying about money? It’s so much fun! You should try it 😣 The ‘oh, we haven’t bought for those’ … ‘we’ve forgotten to get this’. How about… we haven’t got the kids much but that’s okay, they won’t really understand it fully yet although you can’t seem to shake the guilt.

However, all grumbling and stress aside. When you see their little faces light up at the simplest of gifts, you know everything was worth it. It was worth the scrimping and saving to give your babies what you could!

I’ve tried so hard this year to make sure my girls have the best Christmas!

Who does elf on the shelf?! US! Omg! Who loves it more than the kids? Meee 🙋🏼 Finding various things that the naughty little elf could get up to during the night.

Maybe some arnt so suitable for the children 🙈😏

At the end of the day, your so tired and worn down and you really can’t be bothered to move the bloody damn elf again. Or! The worst, when your led in bed and you realise you never moved the little fucker!! Doesn’t it all make it worth it tho when your children are in awe of a silly stuffed teddy? Every morning M is absolutely miffed how little Elfie (original I know right 😳) could move the other toys and get up to all sorts of mischief! The little Elf is supposed to come stay throughout December and then report back to Santa Christmas Eve. M is misbehaving – I say to her ‘you better start behaving little miss, Elfie is watching! He will tell Santa!’ And she’s all like ‘Na he won’t mummy. He’s facing the wrong way,  look!’ 💁🏼 🤔

 

I guess what im getting at is that Christmas isn’t all about the big presents and the latest gadget. Especially if they believe! I hope to make Christmas as magical as i possibly can, for as long as I can, even if I can’t afford to buy them the latest toy or if I really can’t face another Christmas movie. They are my children and for them I would do anything! ❤️🎄
